Hearty Wagyu Beef Stew!

Hearty Wagyu Beef Stew:


  • 2 lbs Wagyu beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Cooking Instructions:

  1. Brown the Beef: Season the Wagyu beef with salt and pepper. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high and brown the beef on all sides. Set aside.
  2. Vegetables: In the same pot, add onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté until softened. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Simmer: Deglaze the pot with red wine, then add beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, and bay leaves. Return the beef to the pot, cover, and simmer for about 2 hours.
  4. Final Touches: Add potatoes and cook until tender, then stir in peas for the last 5 minutes. Season to taste and garnish with parsley before serving.
